Tropical 5k Classic

Overview

The Tropical 5k Classic is a fun Hawaiian-themed obstacle course race held at Allegheny RiverTrail Park. Participants will be crawling, bouncing, and bending to raise funds for Blood Cancer. Each team is responsible for carrying one pineapple throughout the course without letting it touch the ground. A best costume prize is awarded at the LUAU. After the race, participants are invited to join for a LUAU complete with Hawaiian food, drinks, awards, and steel drums. Spectators can purchase LUAU-only tickets for $20 online.

The race has a 9 a.m. start time.

Who
Anyone over 14 can register for $45 per person.

A youth obstacle course for kids 14 and under is available for registration at $25. This includes LUAU.

Pineapple PlayZone is a tropical paradise for families with kids aged 9 and under! Get ready to experience a world of fun and adventure with our engaging activities that will keep the whole family entertained. The PlayZone features an array of exciting tropical themed inflatables, a thrilling maze, interactive games and much much more. $60 family registration includes pizza and drink.
