Whether you’re flying solo or gathering with friends and family, our park offers a diverse selection of weekly classes and events to suit every taste and age group.

Explore the rhythm of our year-round drum circle, immerse yourself in the sounds of free music events, or join in the fun with music and art classes tailored for toddlers. Find your flow with invigorating Yoga sessions or let loose with Bachata dance classes. Plus, don’t miss out on the excitement of seasonal productions by our local theater company.

Program Schedule

Trace Brewing

Beginning in May, Trace Brewing will be celebrating Summer Fridays at ARP. Every Friday, Trace will be at the park alongside a food truck for 5-9pm service. The Summer Friday schedule will be posted here.

Trace also hosts a variety of pop-up events at the park. Check out our calendar for the latest.

Dah Dah Creative Play

Hosted by Dah Dah. Classes are child-led and process-based, meaning there is no time limit or order to the stations and the focus is on the process, not the end result. Children will work with their grown up for as long as they want at whatever station they want.

Kindermusik

Kindermusik with Lynda is an internationally-recognized children’s course that encourages play, movement, music and learning.  The mission is to bring the joy of music to as many preschool aged children as possible.

Fox Chapel Crew

Fox Chapel Crew is a 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with Fox Chapel High School that offers middle school and high school training and competion as well as adult rowing.

  • High School – Novice and Varsity; practices Mon-Thurs & Sat
  • Middle School – summer, fall and winter season; practices vary by season
  • Adult Rowing – sessions are offered during the summer, fall, winter seasons
  • Summer Programs – available for youth and adults of all levels

Yoga

Hosted by Yoga Flow

  • Saturdays and Sundays starting in May and running through September
  • Saturday classes will take place on the dock, weather permitting. Sundays will happen rain or shine
  • Registration or drop-in payment required

Riverfront Theater Company

Riverfront Theater Company is a community theater group that typically does three shows per year — spring, summer and fall, one for each of the seasons.

  • Typically, we have two days of auditions; 6 weeks of rehearsals; 2 weekends of performances (total of 8 weeks), depending on the venue.
  • Rehearsals are generally held in the evenings (7–9:30 p.m.), and occasionally on weekends.
  • We have a great group of volunteers who build sets, find props and furniture, and handle costuming and front of house responsibilities.
