Food Truck Friday’s are back with Flagship Sponsor

This summer, the energy along our riverfront in Pittsburgh gets an extra boost as First National Bank (FNB) steps in as the flagship sponsor of Food Truck Fridays at Allegheny RiverTrail Park.

Food Truck Fridays, a weekly event series at ARP running from May to October, brings people together with food trucks, craft beer, and a variety of family-friendly, often free programming. 2026 Food Truck Fridays kick off on May 15th with El Sabor Latin Kitchen and Trace Brewing.

ARP is a nonprofit organization supported by the generosity of organizations and individuals, including First National Bank, helping make free, community programming possible. As the sponsor of this six-month series, FNB is making big waves on the riverfront, playing a key role in bringing Food Truck Fridays to life and creating safe, fun, family-friendly experiences for the community.

A Natural Fit for Community Investment

For FNB, sponsoring Food Truck Fridays was an easy decision. “This event brings people together, supports local, small businesses and celebrates the vibrant communities we serve — making it a natural fit for us,” says FNB.

FNB’s involvement aligns closely with its broader mission of fostering strong, inclusive communities. By spotlighting small, local food vendors, the program not only creates a lively gathering space but also strengthens the local economy. And much like Allegheny RiverTrail Park, the bank prioritizes investments in spaces that are safe, accessible, and welcoming. These are the kinds of environments where people can connect, recharge, and thrive.

Investing in Pittsburgh’s Future

As a company deeply rooted in Pittsburgh, FNB sees community investment as essential to the city’s continued growth. With its new headquarters downtown, the bank is reaffirming its long-term commitment to the region. Supporting public spaces like Allegheny RiverTrail Park helps create healthier, more connected neighborhoods by offering residents places to gather and enjoy the outdoors.

FNB’s support extends well beyond Food Truck Fridays. “Our dedication to the communities we serve starts at the top of the house,” says FNB. Community engagement is embedded throughout the organization, from executive leadership serving on local boards to employees contributing tens of thousands of volunteer hours each year. Through a combination of financial investments, community programs, and employee-driven initiatives, the bank continues to make a meaningful impact in the places where its customers and staff live and work.

Roots in the Riverfront

As the flagship sponsor of Food Truck Fridays, FNB is helping transform the park into a hub of activity, fostering connection, wellness, and shared experiences. This partnership reflects a deeper connection to the community. For more than a decade, the bank has supported organizations across the region and invested in community revitalization efforts.

Through supporting Food Truck Fridays at ARP, FNB isn’t just sponsoring an event—it’s helping to further ARP’s mission by cultivating a stronger, more vibrant Pittsburgh community… one Friday at a time.
