We are so grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of support for our funding application for the acquisition of the Brilliant Line.
Given that we only had 3 and 1/2 days to pull this off over Easter weekend, we had hoped for 100 letters and 1,000 positive comments in our survey…Thanks to you, we received a whopping 406 letters and 2,943 positive responses to the survey. More than 40% of you offered to volunteer to help transform this fabulous piece of property into a bike and pedestrian trail and Pittsburgh’s Brilliant High Line.
To all of the people and organizations and government entities who made this impressive show of community support: You are shaping the future of our environment, our health, and our Region.
it takes an enormous effort to get all this public support so quickly.
