Let’s capitalize on this once in a lifetime opportunity to create Pittsburgh’s own High Line and link ARP with the East End!
Allegheny Valley Railroad has agreed to sell ARP the Brilliant Line, a magnificent nearly 4 mile long rail corridor stretching from the Park, up Washington Boulevard into the East End, with spurs stretching towards Verona and the Waterworks Mall
The Park is applying for federal stimulus funding to purchase this amazing trail corridor. YOU can help us get this funding by sending a letter or email of support for the project by Tuesday 4/6, addressed to Representative Conor Lamb (or your own Representative) to susan@aspinwallriverfrontpark.org. Be sure to include your full name and address. Responses will be compiled and included in our application and grouped together for the transportation and appropriation committees review.

The more responses and emails letters we have the better chances we have! (And of course you can always do both).
Our goal is to have at least 100 letters and 2,000 survey responses by Tuesday morning’s deadline – so please send yours by Monday evening 4/5 if you can.
