SUMMER 2025 AT ARP

Where else are your kids encouragedto run free and parents are encouraged  to relax and enjoy a beer?

Food Truck Fridays at ARP bring the best of both worlds… PLUS an incredible view of the Allegheny River.

Bring a game, a sport, even a fishing pole. All are welcome to attend every Friday from May through October 17th! Trace Brewing will be popping up from 5-9pm, and you can find the food truck and programming line-up here.

Allegheny RiverTrail Park is turning up the volume this summer with the return of its Free Summer Concert Series, sponsored by The Short Family!

Now in its fifth season and better than ever, the series features nationally rising artists, some of Pittsburgh’s favorite bands, a waterfront stage, expanded food and drink options, and unbeatable views… for FREE!

More info on the line-up here!

Become a Friend of the Front Yard and keep our Mission in Motion!

ARP began as a community initiative to preserve Pittsburgh’s riverfront. The park, now serving as the community’s front yard, is a riverfront destination for boaters, foodies, music lovers, cyclists, and more.

Friends of the Front Yard is a membership program for people who use and love Allegheny RiverTrail Park. Becoming a member is the best way to Keep our Mission in Motion and provide critical sustaining support for ARP. Plus you can receive Park Partner discounts all summer long by becoming a member.

Free fishing – Bill’s Dock is open during park hours and has an upper and lower deck, with seasonal chairs suspended safely over the river. Fishing is allowed with a license but no swimming or boat mooring at the dock.

Kayaking & Rentals – Anyone is welcome to bring kayaks or paddleboards to launch off of our motorless boat launch. 3 Rivers Outdoor Co. Outpost is also located at the park and open seasonally for rentals.

Yoga Classes – Choose from Thursday evening yoga on the deck with Yoga412 or weekend morning yoga on the docks with Yoga Flow.

Kids Summer Camps – Dah Dah Creative Play, Kindermusik, Winchester Thurston
